SEMINARS & WORKSHOPS
WORKSHOPS
Our workshops are best described as immersive safe spaces, designed for learners to explore various social issues at a deeper level. Led by experienced facilitators, each workshop encourages active participation, critical thinking, and creativity. We use activities, group discussions, personal stories and real-world scenarios to bring topics like environmental justice, digital citizenship, identity, bullying and mental wellness to life. Learners leave our workshops with practical skills, empowered perspectives, and a sense of agency to make a positive impact in their communities
SEMINARS
Our seminars offer healthy ways to engage in meaningful conversations around social topics. Designed for High School learners, seminars include a day filled with sessions, activities, reflective exercises and Q&A. These sessions create a thought-provoking space for learners to dive deeper into complex topics and build a foundational understanding of the world around them. By addressing current social challenges in a structured yet interactive format, we empower learners to think critically, engage respectfully, and build their confidence towards making braver choices for their lives.
PRIMARY SCHOOL WORKSHOP TOPICS
GENDER BASED VIOLENCE AWARENESS PROGRAMME
With the support of the GBVF1 Fund, Solidarity Fund, KZN Department of Education and SPAR Group, Trulife has developed a 5-part workshop, one for primary schools and one for high schools, which IS delivered by a team of trained Trulife facilitators.
Each of the 5 lessons takes the format of an educational, creative and relevant video introducing and unpacking the topic; discussion questions led by the facilitator, and an activity for learners to complete in the form of a worksheet, game or creative educational activity.
